Fisher and paykel model no GW611 washes but won't spin nor lid locks

Sounds like the lid lock has gone bad. Check the wire connections to it and if you should need to order the lock, here is their website.

Have Fisher & Paykel washer GW11. 5 yrs old. Lid won't lock, Took off to repair, then put back on, no problem, but now won't lock, so won't spin. Help!

your door needs to be re-aligned so the wax motor assy can lock the door so the unit senses its locked and can continue the wash cycles

I have a GWL11 Fisher Paykel washer. It was running fine then it was beeping and had stopped-- the spin light was the only one left on, although water is in it. Basin looks lower than I recall. It won't...

Hi just read you posting. Now when the machine was beeping was the spin light the only light that was on while it was beeping? If this is the case then my manual tells me your Motor Controller is faulty and needs replacing. Please confirm which light was on when the machine was beeping because the motor controller module is not cheap.Looking forward to your reply.

Stops before rinse cycle... won't drain or spin.

The REGULAR CYCLE button turns the drain pump on or off. The REGULAR LED will turn
on when the pump is on. This feature can be used to drain the tub. You could get a bucket and lay the hose on the fllor. Gravity will drain it down.

Washing machine will not spin or drain

look at my post "eco smart won't drain, smells hot". It could be something stuck in very lowest part fo drainage area. you have to remove the motor on bottom of washer to see into this area and remove blockage.

My fisher paykel eco smart is GWL11 not GWL15

Press "end of cycle" for 5 seconds or more to clear the screen. Check your exit hose spigot, it may be clogged. This is if your filter is all clean. There should be air for passage in the standpipe behind. Your hose should not fit airtight into the standpipe and neither too deep into it. Snaking out your standpipe would be good too.
