Question about Acer TravelMate C112TCi-SP2 Tablet PC

Why my acer travel mate c110 cannot touch screen ??? is it got a software to install it ? i go acer dun see any software for the Change tablet and pen settings. pls help me ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

Try installing the drivers from the Acer website. The link is

http://support.acer.com/drivers_download.aspx

Select Notebook>TravelMate>TravelMate C110
Under the drivers tab, you will find all the drivers you need for your laptop. Don't forget to select the Operating system or else the drivers will not show up.

How do i get pass my system lock on my acer travel mate
To enter in the BIOS :
ACER
  • You can make use of the DEL or F2 keys after switching on your system.
  • When using Acer Altos 600 server, the BIOS set up can be accessed by pressing the CTRL+ALT+ESC keys.
After enter in select dfault settings,F10 to svae and exit.

Where is internet switch on a acer travelmate c110 tablet pc
On the acer travel mate only some models came with wireless and others did not. If yours has wireless the switch should be located right on the front of the computer. I hope this helps

I just bought a 2nd hand acer travelmate c110 and does not have anything so i installed a windows xp service pack 2. my question is i cannot use the touch screen is there any driver for it?
Go on acer's website and look for that particular model where you will get a list of downloads available for this model.You should be able to find the driver for this touchscreen and install it.If this does not work then you may have a hardware fault.

Hi, does your laptop tuns off as soon as booting is finished and the main screen is on? If yes then your system is infected by some virus becoz i was also suffering from same problem few months back.I purchased a new antivirus "kaspersky" and my problem was solved.

Hibernation
Remove the battery and unplug the laptop. Hold the power button down for 10 seconds. Plug it back in, pop in the battery, turn it back on.  Let me know if that works.

The screen is not lit
This is most likely your backlight CCFL tube or Inverter. Unless you are very confident and experienced at laptop repairs, you should take this into a repair shop to be fixed. It will only need a £10 part. I recently replaced my backlight and it cost £9.99.

Lost supervisor password acer travelmate c110
You could try booting in safe mode. Press F2 during Post startup to enter the set up utility. You can navigate to the Security Settings and change your supervisor password. You can find this info at: http://www.elhvb.com/mobokive/edwin/laptops/Acer/TMC110SG.PDF Pages 39-47 will walk you thru the steps.
