My HP Photosmart 2610 won't recognise compatible cartridges, help

It looks like your Photosmart 1115 printer uses an HP45 black ink cartridge and an HP78 tri-color cartridge. Some HP printers will accept re-manufactured ink carts, while other HP printers will not...just so you know. I've always bought genuine HP ink cartridges on eBay to save $$$.

I request you to check the ink cartridges as the paper is blank it could be due to empty ink cartridges or dried ink cartridges. Here is the weblink to replace ink cartridges.

I just had this same problem tonight. I have a Photosmart C4488. I called tech. support and they gave me a line about unapproved ink damaging the printer. What this basically means is HP has figured out how to make the printer recognize if you have refilled one of their cartridges and then it treats the cartridge as a non compatible one. This is so you are forced to buy new cartridges through them. I'm extremely angry over this because I bought the printer. I own it and they still get to tell me what I can and can't do with it.

1. your rt side ink cartridge is damaged change it with compatible or new cartridge to get rid from this error.
2. or try ones cleaning the cartridge with dry cloth.

This problem is common with refilled and compatible ink cartridges. However pushing the ok button usually fixes this problem

Make sure you have removed the tape from the printhead on the cartridge. If you have sone this, then you can try turning the printer off and on a couple of times and see if this helps. You may need to press the OK button
