This is a common issue with Whirlpool Duet washers however, your whirlpool duet washer can be reset to resolve the control lock problem. Press and hold the END OF CYCLE/CYCLE SIGNAL button for 15 seconds to reset the control. Please get back to me if you have any other questions.

I had the same problem. My control lock was on without the status light on. To unlock the controls I Selected and held END OF CYCLE SIGNAL button for at least 3 seconds. The lock/unlock control status light never indicated the locked position, yet my washer now works. NOTE: Select and hold END OF CYCLE SIGNAL button for 3 seconds to toggle between lock and unlock.

On some front loading washer there is a button that when held for 3 to 5 seconds will lock the control panel so young children can't change settings. Look at your control panel for writing under a button that will tell you to hold down to lock or unlock panel.

Needs new drain pump. About $140. Will fix F02 / SUD error. Basically the drain pumpm isn't pumping water out. about 5 minutes to replace.

Push and hold the button that looks like a pad lock for three seconds and a beeping sound and then it should unlock. Depending on your model. Let me know.

Hold control lock for 3 sec. It will make a sound and the door will unlock.

These are seperate problems, F 02 on whirlpool is a drain issue, this is were you need to remove the three hex screws on the kick panel below the door and using a bucket remove the cleanout on the pump and drain what water comes out and remove the filter and check the pump for damage. The other problem is a duel feature button that needs to be held for 3 seconds to unlock, I am fuzzy on the location, look carefully for the writing blends in with the panel.
