You need to work out where the water is coming from, either the front, back left or right hand side to give you an idea what/where to look.
Front - Open the door and check the door seal (usually grey rubber round the door) look for splits, chaffing, damage.

Rear - check the connection to the pump, there will be a (Black) rubber hose from the drum housing about 12-18"long, check for splits, connection etc.
Check and remove the pump itself, Isolate the electricity, to remove - disconnect the outlet hose from below the sink or upstand, lower the outlet hose to the floor and syphon off the water into a bowl from the machine, there will be some even if the machine appears empty. disconnect the plug on the pump (2 wires), disconnect the hoses from the pump (2 off) and check inside the hoses, bra wires, socks etc. look inside the pump for foreign objects, the pump can be wasily split open via 3 screws normally, refit in reverse order.

Top - remove the top cover usually 2 screws at back or side and will slide slightly to remove, check hoses to drawer and the hose below drawer to top of the drum housing, check the inlet solenoids at the back (where the water hoses connect).

hope this helps

My LG WM2455 has water leaking from lower front near the front access door. I have checked the catch basin and drained the tube but still get leakage after the next load. What could the problem be?

If the washer is leaking water the drain pump might have a hole or crack. Or, the bearings might be worn out. Replace the drain pump if it is leaking water, they're not repairable.
Check the condition of the drain hose that connects the tub to the pump.

Bosch avantixx front loader leaking underneath machine? machine only 2 years old

  • You will find a small door on the front bottom of the washing machine.
  • Open it.
  • Unscrew the filter and rinse it with running water.
  • Put it back in place and repeat the above steps in reverse order.
This should solve your leakage problem.

Water leaks with larger louds on kenmore front load eco

Also water can leak if there are gaps on the front door gaskets and must be checked but this will happen only during the cycle and not on the drain cycle end.

Error message E1

it means there is water leakage in hose connections or there is damage to the hose that results in water spilling or leaking.
Your observation to the washer's inside is needed to confirm the leak and solve.

The front load washer is less than 4 years old and has been leaking from the front door since we purchased it. Rust has appeared in front of the door and now has rust on the side due to leaks. I am afraid...

And so you should be. Anyone who continues to use an appliance around uncontained water is inviting electrocution..

I cant begin to fathom out Why??????????

LG front load washing machine water leaks with heavy loads

If your water is leaking with heavy loads, the first thing you want to check is the gasket (door boot) attached to the tub. Look for holes or rips in the bellows part(where the water settles) and around where it contacts the door. Any nicks or holes will cause leakage. Also, check the glass dome on the door towards the bottom. If it has dirt or hair buildup on it, it will leak with any pressure on the door.

Machine leaks when clothes are washed but not

this could be a simple issue or a severe issue.
if you feel adventurous disconnect unit, and remove Rear access panel. inspect the rear bearring at the pulley, check for oil leakage and water residue. if there is water around the bearring the unit requires an overhaul. if nothing you should be ok.
it could be a disconnected vent at the top of the machine.
remove front access panel and inspect all rubber boots and connections for water.
this is best done just after washer has leaked, inspect where water is comming from.
there are many things that could be causing this.

Leak in washing machine

can you tell where the water is hitting the belt from is it in the middle of the wash tub or from the outside of the wash tub please let me know if its from the middle of the tub its probably the seal that keeps the agitator from leaking, and if its from the side the in lines from the water spicket or the valve that controls hot and cold in the machine could be leaking, please look closely and try to see where the wateris dripping down from. thank you, then let me know
