I think my 6600 on/off button was damaged.is there any way i can start the phone.i try to charge it to full battery and hoping it will turning on,but it did'nt.please...

The only way, is to inject a short pulse on the BSI terminal, its the center terminal on the battery connector. But you need an electronic pulser to do that. It's better to have the switch replaced, it wont cost you a lot.

full charge ur battery, then turn off ur cell phone and simontaneously hold call(green button) button, star(*) button, and (3) button and start ur cell phone and keep holding those three buttons until a screen comes which says "formatting"... now ur phone is alright.... thnx...
CAUTION: if u have any valuable data on ur phone plz dont try this .
first charge ur battery until its full
next switch ur phone on while pressing the green key ,the 3 key and the * key.
hold these till a screen saying 'formatting' comes
allow it to format
it may take 5 mins
dont remove battery or phone system will bcome corrupted
Check the power button of your Nokia 6600 if it is working properly. Also, check the battery if it is providing power to your phone, or it is empty. Lastly, check your battery charger if it is charging the battery. Replace parts when needed.
Hi there...to fix your problem you have to format your 6600...just simply turn off the phone...and then hold this buttons at the same time Power button,3,*,Call button...be sure press it at the same time...wait until the formatting msa appears after that your phone will work now normally...hope this will help you

Try to charge your battery fully using another mobile or use a fullly recharged battery which is compatible with nokia 6600 and then try to format it again and i hope it will help.
