If this is for turning the alarm completely then I also had the same problem. The directions in the manual are not clear but all you have to do is quickly press either Alarm 1 or Alarm 2 (depending on which one you are turning off) twice and the alarm will be deactivated.

If you want the Ipod to go off make sure the little Ipod Icon on the clock display isnt there first. Hope that helps :)

It's because it charges via FireWire and your iPod charges via USB. This 12V vs. 5V. I've encountered this twice recently myself. Scosche makes an adapter that's sold through the Apple Store.

i am in Colombia, and year ago i bought in USA at Circuitcity (Miami) an Imode Ip 215 Clock Radio with IPOD dock station for a nephew gift. It functions several months without any problem but suddenly it does not sound anymore. A technician examination determined that the problem was not the volume control as i though but the CD8227CP Integrated . The Headphone jack always worked fine in spite of that problem, though the volume was fixed..
Idon't know if this common problem of the Imode devices mut be due to a defective or bad quality sound piece

The same problem for me for the iMode iP215... right now, I am going to my cousin's house (he's a technical fixer person) If he can tell me what is the problem, I'll give you guys the answer on how to fix it. If not, I just lost money for nothing.
