SONY BRAVIA KDL-40S2010 40"

Turned on tv----green faces, light lavender background----NO COLOR
Cable co. says they are not having anyother difficulty with anyother customers in my area, so it has to be the tv.

How can I get the color back????? It's only 2 years old.

I have the same problem, same tv, same size, about 2 years old. Not only have I had green faces but now I have a red and green lines flickering through the screen

Mine does this, too. If I turn off the TV and turn it on again, the color returns to normal, but often changes back to green & pink when channel surfing.

Same problem on 2 yr old unit. Pink and green shadows on the screen looks psychodelic, but that is not what I want.

Mine isnt even 1 year old and same problem. was fine last night, woke this morning, turned it on and there they are green and purple

Tow possibilities. [1] The LVDS cable (the flat cable that connects between T'Con and LCD panel) loose contact at its connection sockets. Re-insert this very carefully, and check. [2] Fault to T'Con board itself. If so it should be replaced. If you wish to get some details; check the site linked here. Pull up older posts. If the problem is same with different input devices and you have ensured there are no loose contacts in power outlet, RC jack, cable and sockets, the TV needs servicing.

My sony bravia screen turned green I do I fix it?

When the color of the screen is complete green, you should not worry. That is the normal color that should be on the screen when no program is coming in because the cable box is off. So simply press OK on the remote of your digital box and your will see picture on your TV. If none appeared, then there is problem on your cable box. Call then your service provider.

My TV (Sony Bravia KDL-46S5100) just went off. when i try to turn it on, the on button lights up green, but nothing happens on TV. Tried unplugging it and turning on again - doesn't work. Sometimes Standby...

U might need a new bulb.

Most likely this is caused by a defective main board. Changing the main board will fix the issue about 95% of the time.

To be absolutely sure, the voltages need to be checked on the power supply. If they are not the values listed in the service manual, then you should replace the power supply instead (accounts for the other 5% of the time).

Dvd screen is pink

If you are using component cables to connect the DVD to the tv make sure you have the red,blue and green colors on your cables matching these colored jacks on the tv and DVD jacks. If one of these cables is plugged in wrong or not plugged in it could cause this. Good Luck

If you are using a HD cable box or satelite with component outputs, be sure that all 3 cables ( green, red, and blue ) are making good connection.A loss of red or blue will cause color shift. Usually,if the tv menu comes up as the correct color but the picture dose'nt, it is most likely a signal problem.
