Hi, I found this video on You Tube, regardless of manufacturer, the procedure is the same. Click on the link below. GE WD24X10066 UNICOUPLE ASM PartSelect
Usually this is due to a partially blocked drain. Most of the time the problem is either at the sink / garbage disposal connection or the Air-Gap is blocked near your sink. The air gap sticks up above the sink about 2.5 inches. You lift off the cover, unscrew the inner plastic nut NOTING the installed position of the upper / inner U cap and lift off the cap. There may be food particulate in there. Clean it out and put it back together. If you found nothing there then remove the hose from your under sink connection and clean the hole out that the hose connects to.
If you do all of the above and the problem persists just repsond here and we can continue troubleshooting.
open door and pull on inside of gasket to expose screws or 1/4 nuts.. loosen[do NOT remove] all screws and pull old gasket out. place new gasket in sink of hot water to soften it and put back around door. snug up a couple of screws on each side and test seal by shutting door..you may need to adjust inner panel until just right..then tighten all screws
Put plumbers putty around the flange that will be in contact with the sink. When you put it into the hole, try to line up the overflow as good as possible. The nut that goes onto the bottom (tailpiece) has a rubber gasket that will go between the nut & the sink. Adding some plumbers putty here won't hurt. After all is secure, just remove the putty that squeezed out from tightening.
I ordered it from a local appliance repair shop. It is a unic.repair kit and has the following numbers on the package.
B21902X/1 and
WD35M27
It cost about $25 CDN.
