Hi, I have unplugged my MP3 player from my computer and it does not respond to any switch. If I put it back into the computer it reads that it does not recognise the removable device . Can you help? Thanks

Hi there,

Initially, you can hold down the power button down for 20seconds to do a reset.

You should do the "safely remove" procedure when unplugging the MP3 player from the computer's USB port, otherwise it will get fried and damaged over time. If you have just been simply pulling the plug off all these times, then I guess that was what happened - the battery got fried. Anyway, just try to plug your MP3 player to another USB port on the computer or better yet, to other computer's usb port.

Please let me know how this goes.

I connect my sansa e250 into my computer and the mp3 player says connected but i see no sansa hardrive and the computer doesnt respond .

Turn Sansa off. Unplug USB and make sure its clean. Plug back in as normal. If no hardrive comes up go to My Computer and look for it and troubleshoot if necessary.

Finally, repeat this action above accept when you turn MP3 off, hold button for 15 seconds - release and then turn back on.

I plug in my mp3 player into my computer, computer is on open everything like i use to have it when it did charge but now the screen comes on and sits, then i take it off and i cant turn it on for more...

When the mp3 player is plugged in to the computer, it won't respond to anything except the computer- the screen will just sit there and say it's connected. After you unplug it, it probably doesn't respond for 3 seceonds because it's refreshing its media. It might tell you it's refreshing or just refresh without saying anything.

When you put songs on your mp3 player don't put them in folders if you do.

Also did your mp3 player come with any software, you may need to use the software in order to put songs on.

When you've finished putting songs on do your safely remove your mp3 player from the computer, if not that could be your problem.

Also it could be anything from a small read error, try formating your mp3 player which may fix this problem to do so follow these steps below:

First connect your mp3 player to the computer, once you've done that go to "Start" - "My Computer" - now look for something called "Removable Disk" which is your mp3 player, once you've found it "Right-click" on it then click "Format", once format as complete put music back on your mp3 player, then see if the problems been fixed.

Good luck. Hope my solution was helpful in some way. Further problems, leave a comment on here and i will get back to you a.s.a.p.
