I have Viking Pro (VCS483SS). The refrigerator is working well now, but temperature lights (9 bars on left side of controll panels) keep flashing after I touched something. I can't control temperatures lower or higher. I tried to power the refrigerator off and on then, but all 9 bars are still flashing and higher/lower temp buttons are not working. How do I reset the control panels?
SOURCE: all lights went out in my refrigerator/freezer
I have this side by side Viking- The worst product I ever bought. Nothing but problems. If I can give anyone advise do not buy one.

Remove the center grill of the top grill and shut the power off and back on, the lights should reset
When the lights are working open the Ref door then close the freezer drawer, watching to see if the light in the freezer shuts off. It should shut off when the freezer is about 1" from closing. If it stays on until the door is fully closed then there is a problem with the light switch in the freezer.
Normally when you leave the doors open until the lights shut off, it should reset when both doors are closed
SOURCE: Viking Wine Cellar Temperature Near-Freezing
Viking wine coolers are made by Marvel. They all had issues with freezing the contents. If you replace the electronic cold control system it will be fine.If you don't, it will freeze the wine popping the corks and leaking in the unit.If you get the parts from Marvell they are much cheaper.
SOURCE: viking side by side makes very little ice
Your inlet tube that goes to the icemaker may be frozen. To Check: Shut off water supply to Fridge, disconnect the water line that goes to the icemaker at top back. Use a flexible item to insert in the water line connection. I used a zip tie. If the flexible item won't all the through to the ice maker, the line is frozen. Thaw out the tube from inside the freezer with a hair dryer. Re-connect everything, you now have ice . . . Solution #2: You may have to replace your "Water Inlet Valve" located at bottom right rear of Fridge. Easy to do, just follow the color codes, be sure and shut off the water.
