Are the stripes like pixely (sharp stripes) or blurry (from background)?
You might have damaged the edge of the screen where the connections are and broke connections. These types of problems are impossible to fix. You need replacement panel witch can cost a lot. Cheaper is to buy new model. You can re-sell the screen motherboard, PSU as those are sometimes valued replacement parts for screens that have working panel but broken circuits.
Another tip for you is to find a exact same screen with broken circuits and replace those. I have found myself broken screens just for cents.
Impossible. KODAK doesn't sell spare parts. You might be able to buy a camera of the same model and replace that way otherwise the alternative is a repair. If OoW. it will cost around 45 pounds and you will have to ship it to the KODAK repair centre.

I got DCR-SR32 and I had first problems with colours then screen was moving down at last LCD stoped working. You are not wrong this wire is broken. I got till under the panel LCD I changed it and it's like new. Repair shop wanted for repair 150Pounds I did by myself for 50. The wire you can buy in the service or repair shop how you prefer number on the wire is written, mine was 1-871-457-11 sold as 1-871-457-21. you have to check your it might be the same. To change it it's not very easy but it's possible if the woman like me did it:D.
I replaced mine myself. I bought a lcd screen brand new off ebay and they gave me a few simple instructions and I replaced it myself, and I'm a chick!!! It really was easy and cost about $40 otherwise I was told around $90. Just had to buy a real small phillips head screwdriver! Good luck!

I also cracked my Canon Powershot A630 lcd screen by dropping the camera. I saw a suggestion to buy a new replacement lens and either have it professionally replaced or try it myself. I ended up doing the replacement myself following instructions I found online. Now it works. Total cost US $63.
I would not recommend trying the replacement yourself, however. There are a few very delicate plastic parts in there which I ended up damaging. Luckily the camera and lcd screen are working great now. But it is probably worth having a professional camera repair shop do the whole job or insert the screen you've purchased. Good luck!
wow! good luck...
I would say the manufacturer would be your best bet to order from. i don't know how LCD screens are but i do know that most camera parts are pretty touchy for being with their own counterparts.
I've tried camera repair, man it is intricate!
once again, GOOD LUCK
buy202.com is a scam. I sent my Casio EX-S600 camera to them to repair the lcd screen and they not only didn't repair it, but lost it. They do not return any calls or emails, and we stopped at their 'advertised address' in Columbus, Ohio and it is boarded up. We have reported their owners, Josh McVey and Reverend David, to the Better Business Bureau.
