Question about Amazon Kindle Wireless Reading Device

Non responsive (battery is fully charged). Screen has frozen up.

When screen froze tried turning on/off and now screen is frozen. Is there a reset button of sorts?

Nabi Jr.screen froze can`t turn it off or on
was fully charged& playing a game,went to menu screen& it froze,can`t do anything

There is a reset button at the bottom (insert paper clip in pinhole). If all attempts trying to unfreeze it fail, you may have a logic board issue. Are you sure the Kindle powers up? Try to power up your Kindle with a different battery. If that fails, you can get the part at Kindle Repair and there is a guide that shows you how to open a kindle and install parts at Kindle Repair Guide.

Thank you for the links to parts for kindles. I just couldn't believe that I couldn't swap out motherboards for my fried Kindle. They don't like being left on the dashboard of a black interior car in the sun. Here is another linkhttp://www.powerbookmedic.com/ for a parts supplier. I'll try to remember to update once I get the parts.
My Kindle is frozen on the screensaver page, will not charge, will not soft or hard reset. If it isn't the motherboard I will replace the battery next. Very easy to take apart, much easier than a laptop. Just watch the screws, extra tiny.

Screen is frozen

1. Remove baterry and wait for some time , then turn back battery and turn on, see if helps...
2. Find on vendors forum site problem like these and try solutions there
3. Take it to service shop

My amazon kindle screen is frozen on the right hand upper corner. The rest of the screen is still fine and works but that corner is frozen.

Make sure that the kindle is fully charged. Plug your kindle into the wall charger, a yellow light will light up. When the yellow light turns green, your kindle is fully charged. Then try turning on your device. If the device still does not turn on, hold the power switch for 15 seconds, this will reboot the device.

My Kindle 2 has a partially frozen screen. I had in my bad for the majority of the day yesterday and when I went to take it out and turn it on the screen saver flashed and the froze on the upper right...

If you are not under warranty, replacement will be needed, anyway you can still contact them. here: Amazon com kindle 2 replacement screen. Wish you best of luck.

Kindle locked up and now can't get it to turn on.

I have the same problem. The screen saver is partially frozen on the screen on the upper right corner and then blank down the rest of the right side. The rest of the screen is readable and I'm able navigate (turn pages, select different books, etc).

Did you figure anything out? Help!
