Are you sure its green red green red or is it green orange green orange?


Because according to apple, it doesnt have a sequence for green red green red..... either way, you can see what the different lights mean here..

Green and ORANGE? orange indicates the iPod is searching for music.
UNDERSTAND this- when you play music in the iTunes app., you are hearing the music in your computer not the iPod.
1) Install the latest iTunes application.
2) Do a restore
3) sync your iPod

Green and orange?? Sounds like you need to restore your iPod.
Understand this: iTunes plays what is on the computer, NOT the iPod.

You can only shuffle songs through the mp3 player
loading them onto the mp3 randomly doesnt effect the order they
play in.

try to give it a firmware upgrade.

Make sure you have the version of the Musicmatch from the Philips website first, and try again - Musicmatch discontinued their service in Oct 2007, making this particular Philips mp3 player obsolete.

Also, make sure the files you are trying to load are in Mp3 format specifically - this player cannot take DRM-encrypted WMA files.

i cannot downloud music. I keep going to store but cannot not select music

well maybe you could take it ti the store like i did at wal mart and theyll maybe fix it but i just got a new one because i had washed mine

The songs may not be ina format that the player reocgnizes, or the songs you are loading may hav expired licesnse. Is your music service subscription up to date?

Mine used to do this. Reformat the unit. It will erase all of your songs, but it should load new ones better.
