Sound problem after upgrading windows

see let me tell you that windows 7 makes a computer very slow and may be your lapp's configuration supports windows 7 but could not process the datas.it seems to be a load on the lappy.still you can get the sound,by installing the lappy's motherboard disc where you will get the audio and video drivers.actually windows 7 does not need any audio or video drivers but windows 7 has the upgraded drivers which is not suitable for the lappy.so you need to install your own drivers which are compatible.

After formatting laptop there is no sound

You need to install the audio driver. (and others if they are missing when you open the device manager)

If you download and install a program called Drivermax, it will help you find any missing drivers for your system. You can pay $10 and use it for 30 days, or you can download 2 drivers a day for free.with it. It's a great little program. Get it here: http://www.innovative-sol.com/drivermax/

My speakers do not work, it says no audio output installed

Hi dear,

If your lappy says that no audio output installed it means either your audio driver got uninstalled or it got updated so you have to either reinstall it again or rollback to previous driver verson. so follow the path.

start>control panel>system (computer logo)>device manager>sound, video, game controllers>driver> if driver is not working properly then install it from the back up CD which you may hav got with your laptop.

and if driver is working properly then see the roll back driver option. press it and let it go back to previous driver verson. manu path is same for it..
start>control panel>system (computer logo)>device manager>sound, video, game controllers>driver>

I cannot get sound from my laptop when i click volume control it tells me that there is "no active mixer device, go to control pannel and install hardware". this doesn't work, i'v also tried...

Do you have the driver cd with you? if so use it to reinstall the audio driver. You can go to the site of the particular vendor and download the audio driver that suits your lappy.

Also if you are using windows xp or vista as your operating system go to the automatic updates site, you may find a upgrade for your lappy's audio driver!!

Motherboard driver

use this website to download your drivers, (you need to select your model, etc just follow the prompts,

obviously if your networking is out then you need to use a working computer to download all the drivers, stick them on a CD or mem stick and get them onto your lappy that way
