I have a HP Ipaq H6340 (PDA/Phone). I just got it from a friend today. After I plug the power cord into an outlet and the other end into the bottom of the HP Ipaq H6340 the little power light will blink orange for about a minute. Sometimes even the little phone icon will blink for a minute as well. After a minute, they stop blinking and nothing happens. When I goto power on the HP nothing happens. If I try to do it when it is blinking, it will start to boot for two seconds and then turn off.
Any ideas?
Seem like all we get here are dead Ipaq.
why are you messing with this old device?
try a new battery, oops that costs money.
as does repairs on a device that has zero value.
why not mess with and old android phone, that has value.
ask here, be like only one playing Ipaq now.

@Fanara
in the fall the simcard reader or the sim card connectors where damaged.
I would take the pda to a professional for analysis.

First sorry for my bad english.I have a same PDA (acually its dead :-( ) And me too had this problem.Try moving a little bit your pda on cardle, or (this looks like crazy but actually worked for me) do not fully put in the cardle into pda.I mean dont stick in into cardle, just a little bit.

A "hard" reset work. I thought I tried this earlier but I was pressing the wrong keys.

Compaq and Hp are having issues with several models, My wife just got hers repaired free out of warranty. Go to copaqs website, look up your model and see if it is one they are offering free one time repairs on. Wife's computer was doing same thing, they replaced the motherboard. Took about 2 weeks round trip . Good luck
