Tape Holder will not re-insert

Error code CD: 32:30 appears. Tape holder opened OK. Inserted the tape but the hold does not go back in the camcorder. I tried disconnecting the power and the battery but no luck.

Eject problem SOny TRV-110E

The vlatch to spring the basket (cassette holder) is easy to access on these. Many times the eject process will take place if the holder is released. After the door is removed the holder can be released by gentley raising the latch on the right side of the holder assembly. After the tape is out further checks can be made for damp drum or tension issues.

Jvc gr-70ek Mini tape holder won't load with tape inserted, but does when empty.

Problem caused by condensation sensor putting camcorder into standby mode.
Cleaned sensor with Q tip and Windex, allowed to dry, problem solved.

E04 unit in safeguard mode

I tried every method I could find from people posting on the web, but the method that worked for me is this.

1. Eject the tape and close the tape holder.
2. Turn the camera off and remove the battery.
3. Put the battery back in. Leave the camera off.
4. Open the tape holder.
5. Slide the tape in, but as you press the holder in to accept the tape, keep your finger pressing in on the holder, being careful not to slow the tape holder from moving downward.
6. Turn the camera on.
7. If it doesn't work the first time, press more firmly to help the tape holder accept the tape.

That's it. This method seems to work for me and lets me use the camera for a long while. If the camera is sitting unused for more than a few hours, I have to do it again. And each time I insert a tape, I make sure that I keep pressing as the tape holder lowers the tape.

Cassette holder does not close

Try inserting another tape first. If the trouble is still there,Defective mechanism, a stucked mechanism is present. camcorder are smart it can detects error and shuts down itself for safety. earlier models dominoes the defect if the user is not quick enough to react when something goes wrong with the camera. You need professional service to fix it.
