Iphone 4 hearing problem

I paid $199 in the past for an exchange. The Apple Store is really good. If they can fix it easily they usually will for free. Back up your phone on Itunes before you take it in though, just in-case they need to reset your phone for you.

When I hold my new iPhone 5 with my left hand, the caller says my voice is muffled. Not so if holding phone on right side.

This is because the mic is located on the left side (phone facing toward you) as you switch hands the mic is moved further from your mouth.

The receiver cant hear the sound but i hear the caller

This is fault on the MIC within the unit. Now uninstall the driver software, remove the webcam and then reinstall the drivers once again. Now connect the web cam and open the properties settings on the webcam . check for normal settings . If the fault repeatsthe webcam must be rechecked on another PC. Take opinion to consult if the webcam is under warranty

Why my callers cant hear my voice when they call me on myphone..but me i can hear thier voice

It helps more if you were to be more specific with the make and model. 9 times out of 10 it's a bad MIC. Most cell phones have the MIC soldered to the board. Some phones like the iPhone or Nexus One can be changed out easily by just replacing the part. The quick way to test your phone is to shoot a video and talk. If you play back the video and don't hear anything then you know 100% you need to replace the MIC. It should be a cheap repair I usually charge my customers $25 - $30. I wouldn't pay more then that. You can find a lot of repair techs on Craigslist HOWEVER be careful and use proper judgement when selecting a repair tech to take your phone to.

How can i increase volume for mic iphone 3gs or input volume during calls..they cant hear me clearly..thats my phone problem..iphone 3gs..

Hello

1 .You need to confirm if its the volume or the mic of your phone that has the problem.

2 .If its the mic, your callers would not hear you but you would be able to hear them.

3. You can Adjust the volume of your iPhone by depressing the volume button on the left edge of the phone, close to the top. This will cause a volume indicator to appear, superimposed over the other icons on your screen. This will increase the volume of your ringer. If you wish to adjust the volume of the phone speaker, use this button during a live phone call. You can also control the volume of your speaker when you are using your iPhone as a music player in the same manner.

4. If its the mic, remove the iPhone from the case, as your case may be blocking the device's microphone.

5. Plug the iPhone device cable into the iPhone and into the computer's USB port.

6.Launch iTunes. Click "iPhone" or the device's name in the sidebar in iTunes and click "Summary then Click "Check for Update" and "Download and Install" to update your iPhone's OS.

7. Remove the device cable after the update finishes and insert your headphone jack into the iPhone's headphones port, tap "Phone" on the home screen, tap "Contacts" and tap a contact to place a call.

8. Press the "+" button on the microphone to increase your microphone's volume.

9. If the problem persists take your iPhone to your local Apple Store for professional service.
BEST OF LUCK
