Hi

Thanks for using FixYa. Wheezing sound can be caused due to many reasons however, to start with open the back of the unit and check the power supply board for any blown capacitors. Also check the flyback as it can be some loose wires in the coil. Usually this happens when there is a vibration in the horizontal circuit, the flyback and/or coil can make this noise. The flyback can also go bad and cause this issue, opening the unit is only recommended if you have some electrical expertise. Please do accept the solution if the issue is resolved or post a comment for further assistance.

Thanks
Rylee

It is more of a chirping sound, only heard when Tv is turned on.

It is not helpful because you are unable to open the unit and check for the parts that I have advised you. Please review the rating as I dont think it should be a unhelpful solution. Chirping sound can be from the capacitor on the power supply board.
