This model didn't have a filter, you could have one installed in the water supply line under the unit behind the toe grill though. The next series after this model did have filters but this one didn't have a factory installed water filtration system.
you can try going to managemyhome.com with your model number for an owners manual for the adjustments that you need. Let me know if you still need assistance.
The paperwork that you received at the time of purchase should list a telephone number to call for warranty service. This problem should be covered under your warranty.
check both your filters and make sure you dont have any cloggs. you have 2 filters, one premotor filter on the side or top of the canister. also check your hepa filter which is located underneath where the canister sits. Dyson claims this to be a lifetime filter but how can a filter be lifetime if its doing its job properly? if you dont have any clogs in the rear neck, hose, nozzle ect. It could very possibly be the motor has finally gave out, creating alot of heat and tripping out the reset. Since ive never seen any dyson last 10 yrs im leaning more towards the motor, but before you just assume go ahead and check, replace the filters and clear any clogs. let me know if you have any other questions or need a schematic for this model
