I'm a woman too and I learned by trying. Don't let anyone tell you you can't do something. Borrow some tools if you don't have any and go for it.
Carbs come with instructions on how to put them together.
If you have trouble, come back here and someone will help you out.

The most likely cause of this problem is a leaking freeze plug located in the rear of the engine block. The problem can definitely be fixed. Unfortunately, it's probably not going to be something that can be done quickly and easily and it might require removing the engine in order to gain access.
I don't think block seal will work in this case. Although this job is not impossible for someone to do themselves, it's best suited for someone who has a mechanical background. If you don't have experience in this area and you decide that you want to do this then please be very careful and remember that there are hidden dangers inside that engine compartment for someone who does not have experience in this area.
