When I plug it in,I can hear the two relays on the mainboard click, and the power light flashes green for a split second only once.Nothing else.No other colors on the power light,or a hint of a picture,or backlight lighting up.When I unplug the TV,the two relays click again.I have tested all of the capacitors on the main power board with an ESR meter, and they all seem alright. The power button board seems to tests alright as well.Nothing looks burned,or broken. What I think will help me get started beyond what I have already tested is the following.Am I supose to get more then 120V on the wires that go from the line filter board to the main power board? What does the line filter board do?And are the two relays on the mainboard supose to make a single click when the power cord is plugged in,and a single click when unpluged,or are they only supose to click when the TV is turned on,and off?Are there any know problems with this TV?I have already tried another IR board, but that didn't help any.I was thinking about getting another power button board, but everything seems to test alright on the one I have.Any help is greatly appreciated.Thank You very much!

I am having the same problem with a Sharp LC32SB24U. Has anyone found the solution?I am having the same problem with a Sharp LC32SB24U. Has anyone found the solution?
I did end up getting mine fixed.I had to replace the mainboard.Being only 10 days old, wouldn't yours still be under warranty?Couldn't you just exchange it at the place you bought it from? How many times does the light flash?I hope this helps.Thank You very much!

These blinks [flashes] are fault indication (Error Codes). From the number of blinks occur at one time switch ON, you can get an idea about the faulty circuit section inside it. This will make repair easy. These are called blinking codes. Make sure about the exact number of blinking of the standby/power LED, by switching On & OFF the set, for at least two times. Count it carefully. If you wish to get some details, check the site linked here. It has details about blinking codes, and fault locating procedure, to many popular brand TVs and other devices. http://electro-medical.blogspot.com/ http://electronicshelponline.blogspot.com/
If blinks continue without any pause, the main board is faulty.
Search the site by type in the "brand name" to your device, in the "Search box at the top right of the display window of the Homepage" to get gathered related posts.
Have someone help you as it's hard to reach around a large tv sometimes.
Unplug the tv. Hold down the volume down and Handel down button. Now, have the person plug in the power for you. Continue holding the buttons and you'll see the screen flash or turn on.
If that doesn't work, try holding just the power button and plugging it in. If that doesn't work, try all 3 buttons.
You'll see the red light flash green or stay green and turn on. You might hear the power supply click on or hear the buzz of the inverter.
If it doesn't work after a few tries, the backlight bulb might be bad. It's probably been on too many hours, and so, the backlight will burn out. It's not worth fixing (if you can find one) so just buy s new one. That, or the inverter is shot.
Newer LEDs do not have inverters so it'll never burn out totally. However, it is possible for a single bulb to burn out, in which you'll see a dark sport or shadow effect.
Try to I unpluged the power, push volume and channel down, pluged power again
While it's flashing unplug your TV from the main power source for 15 seconds,Then press Valume Up and Channel Up, while holding it plug the TV back in, you should see the TV Turn on. How to Reset Your Sharp LCD TV TV Repair
I'm believe the 2 flashing code specifies a problem with the power supply. It is possible that one or more of your supply voltages is out of wack. Have the power supply tested.
First turn on,do the power LED light stable?Few sec.Power LED and LED OPC flashes? This very common on Sharp tv,tries power off/on at 4 or 5 each time it flashes, well power up have backlight on and it work. After this doesn't work than ur Tuner Signal board it dead.
If doesn't give error code most probably is something wrong with 5 and 3.3 volts lines. Check first the power supply and try to start the tv with all connectors removed. Let only the one between main pcb and power supply. Look for shorted voltages lines.
