I think it would run but not to its maximum expectation .... but if you can change the graphics to 512 nvidia 9600GT, it should work better

It will run but if you want smooth full graphics you will need to get a better video card. of course 4 gigs of ram is better then 2 but if you are running 32 bit windows then you are stuck with a max of 3 gigs of ram.

If it is AGP2 which it should be then there is no level of support limitation for an AGP card. you just need to go find a better one if you want the best graphics and speed combination. What you get will depend more on your budget then anything else. typically the higher the number of the card the better performance. Look for a card with more memory as well. Also stay with the nvidia geforce graphics chipset to avoid potential problems.

if it is an agp2 nvidia geforce card it will.

I want to know about dell gx260

theoretically, yes, but whether you would actually want to purchase the card is a different story, 256mb cards are pretty much obsolete any more, and depending on your intended purpose, it probably won't do what you want. i would suggest getting a new pc, preferably custom built, as you'll pay alot less, and get a lot better computer. but in any event, as long as the gx260 has a pci-e, agp, or pci slot, it should be able to support a 256mb nvidia geforce card with no problem, probably not the 9800 gtx, but it could probably handle a 6800-7800

Replacing a Graphics card: Presently a GeForce 420 (64mb) upgrading to GeFroce 6200 (256mb). System is a Dell Dimesion 8200 w/Windows XP at 2GB with 100+ GB free. Will the card work? Tim

If the type of card is the same, and will fit into the slot, such as AGP or PCI or PCIe, then it wil work after you install the new video card drier for your operating system of windows.

Graphics card

Probably more RAM, but 900MB means you must have a 1GB card - that's pretty good. 2GB total should be plenty.
