Screen is frozen( white with a tear look on it)

My phone was workin fine when all a sudden i checked my phone and it was frozen white with akinda teared thing on the screen...what do i do

    When I turn on my phone it works fine. When I try to use the applications it freezes and I can not see the screen ot kinda looks like the old fuzz from the old black and white TVs.

    my phone started freezing and I can only un freeze by removing the battery and starting over. than one day the screen just went white. I can make calls and hear text messges coming in but the screen is still white. There is no tear or cracked screen

    i was not using my phone, when i pulled my phone out to make a call.. 2/3 of the screen had white streaks going across making it hardly visible to see anything on my phone... phone works fine but the white streaks are a pain, hard to read text messages and watch videos, see anything on the top 2/3 of the screen. anyone with any solution. please help.

    I think something happened when I tried to connect to my laptop because now even if i reset the phone, it gets freeze in the T Mobile screen

Just today I contacted T-Mobile Support because I was having the same issue. I couldn't get past first the white screen, then the Windows Mobile screen, then back to the white screen and frozen. I couldn't turn it off or back on without taking out the battery. Solution: I had to Hard Reset my phone! You do this by pressing and releasing the on/off button (quickly) while holding down the two soft keys (the keys on either side of the center middle silver key with the white dash - on them. You must continue to hold down the two soft keys even after you have pressed and released the on/off button. Hold those two keys down until words come on the screen asking you to push the green phone button to reset. The problem with this is that your phone is reset to the factory settings so if anything is unsaved - IT'S LOST!

Why would the screen be white??
White screen is usually a short or a tear in one of the screens wires..
Only thing i could recommend is warranty which you can't do.

Nothing is going to fix that except opening the phone up and looking to see if there are lose wires or a tear in one of them or anything like that.

When this happens, the handset is in a frozen state, and to resolve it you will need to remove the battery while the handset is on and then reinstall it after 1 minute and power up the handset. If this is a continual issue, then you may want to get another handset. okay

the phone firmware now is corrupted a new firmware is needed.

to perform that u shud take it to a phone repairshop and tell them "flash my phone"
and tehy knw the next.

Frozen screen
Read an old post from 2004.
Doing a hard reset will get the phone working. I just did it on my frozen screen BUT.
It will ask you if you want to erase all data. If you choose "NO" it won't get you past the
frozen screen. If you choose "YES" it will erase all your contacts but you will be able to
use the phone again. If your sim card can work in another phone or you did a recent sync
on your PC then you should be able to retrieve your contacts from there. DO THAT FIRST!
HARD RESET is holding down the ON/OFF button and pushing in the reset button that's
next to the memory card slot on the side. Hope that helps, I didn't want to buy a new phone
so its workin' for me.
