Question about HTC Touch HD Smartphone

When I open it it has black screen only what might be the problem with it? do I need a new LCD? My HTC model is Touch HD

    firstly tell are getting phone calls or any type of message is phone running can you make call do you get ant type of screen before getting this black screen means start up logo or any thing like that and how did it happened regards aniruddh

    no im not doing anything. it happens during the start up. when I open the power button the phone makes a sounds which means that its already on but the screen remains black

Need to find out if possible i could find a new screen or lcd for my htc touch model pm6900


It is possible to replace the lcd screen on your touch 6900. It is a stright forward procedure and you can get the lcd screen for about 35 dollars.

Touch screen broken


LCD is inside the front glass that has logo of htc

the upper glass is called touch panel or digitizer it is working as u say but lcd is broken u can see visible cracks on it and it may partially display or not at all then ur lcd is broken by pressure or impact u need to get it replaced around like 100-150 dollars depends on the model and size of the lcd screen
