We have the Kenmore frost free, 20 cu. ft. freezer, model 2539260411, purchased in about 1995. Usually about 2:15 p.m. daily, the freezer "temp alarm" beeps. It continues to beep until we press the reset button. The temperature in the freezer stays consistantly low, so that is not the problem. Any suggestions? Thanks. Charlie

Hi most deep freezers operate at 0 dergrees. your model may have 2 temp zones. 0 or 20 deg.I'm gessind that your sensor is going off when the defroster is on to melt ice (defrosting). Lower the setting. monitor and repeat as needed. if it continues you may need to replace the unit or ad freon. If the unit is over 13 years ge a new one.
To buy the part call toll-free at 1-888-895-1535 from 7:00 AM to 9:00 PM Eastern time, Monday to Friday and Saturday from 8:00 AM to 6:00 PM Eastern time. Mention part PS426673 (Part Select Number).
I think you meen below 20 . Its mostlikely low on freon. if only half or less of the evap coil has frost , you low on freon. Then you have a leak in the system.
Is the compressor running the whole time? If so may have a problem with a refridgerant leak....check the compressor in the rear of unit, feel if its hot....may be as simple as a relay.
