Burners seem to have less heat. Very small flames

Hello Carol, here are some simple troubleshooting tips to help resolve this issue:

First, make sure that burner caps are properly installed and are on the correct burner. Similar sized caps can mistakenly be placed on the wrong burner.

Moisture can clog the ports after cleaning. Lightly fan the flame to remove moisture. Allow the burner to operate until moisture is gone and the flame is full.

On some surface burner designs there are different size ports that produce flames of different lengths. This is normal.

Lastly, the burner ports may be clogged. With the burner turned off, it is recommended for a professional to use a small-gauge wire or a needle to clean the ports.

If the range continues to experience the same issue, it could possibly have a defective power supply, gas supply, or clogged ports. I would suggest contacting a professional to accurately diagnose and repair the appliance.

Adjusting front (most powerful) burner on kitchenaid (Left front)

There is an air port near the adjustment knob. Open for a more blue flame and close for a yellow flame. If these haven't been moved before, you probably have a clogged jet at the burner. Just clean it out with a pin.

My uniflame has two burners and one does not ignite. Everything seems to be tight. What can I do to get this to ignite when turning ignition knob? Thanks!

When you say two burners, I believe you are referring to the pilot flame and the main burner. The pilot flame has to light and heat the thermocouple befoe the main burner will ignite. The pilot flame will not light if: there is not enough gas in the tank, the pilot jet is clogged, or the regulator is bad. Check the tank to make sure it has gas. The next thing to check is the pilot jet. You have to take the heater apart, somewhat, to get to the pilot jet. The tube and the orifice need to be cleaned out, compressed air in a can and a pipe cleaner make the job a little easier. If this does not work, replace the reglator and hose.

Pilot LIGHT KEEPS GOING OUT OUT

The pilot light jet may have got a little bit of dirt or grit in it which is preventing it from keeping alight. If the pilot light has only a weak flame, the whoosh of the main burner igniting can quite often blow out the pilot. Try probing the jet with a fine piece of wire to see it the blockage can be dislodged. You may have to unscrew the jet to clear it by blowing air through it. Make sure gas is turned off first before removing any parts.

The pilot light also has a thermocouple that allows gas to the pilot light while the flame is burning. If pilot flame goes out for any reason, it shuts the gas off to the pilot jet to prevent unburned gas collecting and causing a safety hazard. The thermocouple is bypassed by a switch during the initial ignition and once the thermocouple warms up after a minute or two of holding in the bypass switch, it should maintain the pilot. If, after cleaning, the pilot light keeps going out, it would seem that your thermocouple is faulty and needs to be replaced.

My dryer will not heat. The pilot comes on and then it lights. The flame goes out and then it keeps recycling like this without the flame. Replaced the sensor but this is not the problem.

check your hi-limit and/or cycling thermostats as they may be going bad(bypass them with a jumper wire) or check for weak gas boost and secondary coils on the gas valve when they get weak they wont hold open the gas valve

Weak flame on webber q200 grill

Remove connection to tank, reconnect, open valve slowly, when you open valve to fast the tank valve has a shutdown in it, it thinks something is wrong and shuts valve down. Always open tank valve slowly when using.
Also your tank valve could be sticking causing this problem, to fix replace tank.

My heil furnace comes on and lights the pilot but wont light the burner. How do I fix?

You need to remove the flame sensor on the far left hand of the burner. In has a single wire going to it in between the jets. I believe it is a white wire. A 1/4" screw holds it in place. It has a white ceramic base with a stainless steel looking probe that protrudes into the flame of the burners. Pull the wire off of it, then remove the flame sensor from the burner assembly.. Use steel wool to clean the metal probe until shiny. Re-install and enjoy your heat.
