I need a wiring diagram for my kohler engine CH25?
With engine off, check continuity through the stator winding. you should have continuity both ways if testing before the diode. If testing after the diode, and you still have continuity both ways, then your diode is blown and needs to be replaced. If you don't have continuity through the stator windings, then stator is defective.
Some models have a fuse in the charging circuit, look for that as well and test with a meter, don't assume visually.
I forgot that there were 2 (actually 3) charging systems on this
engine. If equipped with the non-regulated system, the diode will be
found in the black stator wire that eventually goes to the key switch,
the other wire, yellow if memory serves, goes to aux. load.
If you have the regulated system with regulator mounted external to
engine, you should be able to measure AC voltage across both wires (not
purple-ish one). If you have ac voltage here, but don't have DC
voltage from middle terminal, then your regulator is likely blown.
Sorry for confusion.

I already checked the continuity of the stator it is ok, but still stator not produce AC current.
