All of a sudden my player has stopped loading any discs. It just continuously flashes the 'Loading' on the screen and never goes any farther. Not even any error codes or 'No Disc' on the screen. Even discs that I played a few days ago aren't working any longer. Coincidentally, this is the first time I've used it since the 1-year warranty period ended. Anybody have any ideas?
I don't have a solution at this time. I have the same DVD player and mine stopped working this past weekend. It is doing the same thing as yours. I opened the case and loaded a disc and watched the mechanism. The disc won't spin. if you tap the disc it will start spinning and load and start playing. I thought I had fully fixed it. It will load most times but now the video and audio stutters as if the discs is spinning at varying rates.
Same problem here. DVD won't load but I still can play audio disk. Any clue?

'Loading' flashes, but nothing ever loads. It just spins from disc to disc so assumedly it's with the player. It started all of the sudden on discs that are brand new and were previously working.
I recently started having the same problem myself... I removed the cover and played with the loader also, then I smellled the board where the digital outputs are and it smelled like something burned out on that board. I am currently looking for the service manual so I can order and replace that board. I think I found it, but i'm not sure... If so, then the fix will be less than $60.

Same problem. About a year and a half after purchase it stopped playing dvd's. Generally just says 'Loading'. Interestingly, it still can play audio cd's...

I have the same problem, but my player is only 2 months old. I thought maybe there was too much dust in the case, so I got some compressed air to blow it out. That didnt work.

I bought two of them the same day, one for the living room and one for my bedroom. Both Quit working within a week of each other. They are doing the same thing everyone here is saying. Keeps trying to load, but never loads. It will play music CD's, just not movies. I even tried doing what the troubleshooting manual said, by unpluging it for 30 minutes then plugging it back in so it can re-set itself. Didn't work!! Both went out just after the year warranty was up, hmmmm..... Sounds a little fishy to me.
