I am trying to use a Panasonic Showstopper DVR

most of the direct tv boxes have unsupported codes.....

After digging around for awhile, the only onfo I could gather was that teh D12 uses the same codes as the D10 & D11, but could not get those codes, I am still looking around and will post any other info I may aquire. I would also suggest re-trying any codes for echostar. I can tell you this as I sell that equipment in my market and echostar provides the equipment and support for techs, installers, and retailers. Anyway Good Luck for now

Just put in the area code and zip of your location, it will call a 800# to get local #'s.
If you have unlimited calling does not matter what number you call.

Take the batteries out of the remote wait 24 hours and replace them. Good luck

Yes, your hard drive has developed bad sectors. It will most likely need to be replaced. I am going through the same problem right now myself.

Svideo requires the audio cables too, Red and White. Svideo is only carries video.
