Do you use your phone as moden when surfing the net?well i think you have to flash the phone to correct all the errors.

Try using a different Sim, and see if it works. if the problem persists.

You can do a reset to factory settings, which will delete all the installed softwares and also if there are any malicious files which could be the cause of problem. But take a back up of data and contacts as even that would be deleted.

you need to get PUK ( personal unblocking key) from your operator. they will ask you mobile number and sim card number (which u can find back side of sim) than put this 8 digit PUK and than it ask for a new pin. give new pin twice.

You need to flash the phones firmware. You can try the Sony Ericsson Update Service, Wotanserver or take it a place that specializes in flashing or service point. There is no other solution...sorry...

i got sony ericsson w580i. i can't operate my mobile as on screen shows "configuration error. pls. contact your network operator or service centre" i did contact my network operator but confirmed that my sim is in usual working state. i can only listen to call but i cant go to main menu,neither i can listen to song. even i cant able to make call. pleasehelp me
