Zone 2 stopped working for no apparent reason. Are there settings that I could have messed up or is it in the cables?

I have the RX-V1065. yes there is alot of settings that can be messed up with one wrong click on the remote especially if u have kids. If this problem happened while it was playing and no one messing with remote could be equipment. I dout your wires were messed up or the speakers bad cause receiver has overload protection for that and would display it unless someone tripped over wires and they came unplugged "kids" But try checking all settings on receiver first. Good luck

Problem with zone 2

did you change receivers? Many receivers do not allow you to use digital (optical) inputs for zone 2. Only analog inputs are allowed.

My DA550 stopped printing for no apparent reason

Often with printers there is a buildup of debris clogging the paper path. Another thing that happens is the rollers get shiny and don't grab the paper. Shiny rollers can be cleaned with alcohol wipes until they are grippy again.

The car keeps jumping gears sometimes and air gets in the pistons. service engine light only comes on randomly. i went to autozone for the code scanning and nothing showed up twice. took it to mechanic...

auto zone can only help you when the check engine light is "on" SUGGEST THAT YOU HAVE IT CODE READ AT AUTO ZONE THE NEXT TIME THE LIGHTS ON,WHEN IT DOES COME ON,LEAVE IT RUNNING THEN when you have someone with you, leave the car running,go inside auto zone and get them to come out and code read it while the lights on.the only way they can read it is if the check engine light is on. i understand that you have a new motor, you may have a bad idle control sensor. that jumps out at me. the silver canister on top of your engine that has only 2 screws holding it to the engine and has an electrical plug in. does the engine die after you start it sometimes? when you're at a light does it not want to take fuel when you press on the gas pedal? does the engine die sometimes for no apparent reason when it"s setting still? if any of these signs are correct, then a bad idle control sensor is suspect.if not that, then you may have a clogging or clogged fuel injector.if you suspect that, then i suggest adding lucas fuel injector cleaner to your gas tank. this stuff works great for unclogging fuel injectors.you can find it for around $5.00 at auto zone, just add it to your fuel tank.run the engine and you will see a difference after the 1st 15 miles. no more missing or sputtering at stop lights or stop signs. thank you for choosing fixya.com

My brand new De Longhi heater has stopped working for no apparent reason. I have tried the reset switch on the plug. Is there a reset switch on the machine or a way to reset the device?

Hi,
No... there is nothing... you got one with a bad t-stat....take it back and get it replaced rather then messing with it...

I have the Onkyo HT-S5100, the 5 speaker are set

also, you might have to search through the menu of the receiver, and set the surround back speakers to be zone 2 instead of using the 7.1 configuration that is probably default.

i think zone 2 will only play sources that are hooked up with analog connects, ie. red/white cables. try using the radio to see if it works. you might have to hook up your cable/sat box, cd player, dvd player, whatever you have that you want to listen to with both digital and analog cables to get everything to work right.

Every other page prints out in landscape mode.

Ok, so after messing with the settings I believe I found a solution. I went into the printer properties and changed the print processor to hpzpp4z2. Not sure why the other one stopped functioning properly, however this works and that's all that counts.

Yamaha RX-V663 Multi-zone question.

i just got the same receiver like few days ago im still leaning it too,it is a very nice receiver though. here is some settings to help you.
check this to make sure zone 2 is showing in the menu,
on remote
menu, basic setup, speaker set, extra should show zone 2 it might show zone b...presence...or none needs set on zone 2 hit the left a-e/cat button it is weird the right doesnt circle all around? i had to call crutchfield tech for that one(GREAT COMPANY!)so that is for the setting to make sure zone 2 is set up now some to adjust the volume.
menu, manual, options, zone 2 set. here you can set 2 features
max volume( the loudest it will play) inti vol(the volume that it will play at when it is turned on) the yamaha has alot of quirks to it but has a very nice sound. for second zone features and a easier receiver to set up i have onkyo and they are very easy to set up zone 2 olume and everything on the front panel. hope you dont have to try to program a universal remote to work it seems yamaha uses discrete codes that are impossible to find i tried one universal and can only get very basic features to work.
hope this helps you out,
jeff

Zone 2

I am sure this isn't it, but if all components are connected digitally Zone 2 won't work. It only allows analog connections, so anything attached via HDMI, etc. will not be able to be output to Zone 2.
