I have had the same issue - only bought my ESP7 last month - have been on the chat support with Kodak in US and they advise that the print head will need replacing but they couldnt send one from US and advised me to ring the 0870 Kodak support number in UK - this is a premium line and lucky I took out an instant replacement policy when I bought it so I am off to PC world to get another! Good luck with yours - suggest you phone Kodak and ask for a print head replacement which should be free if you have had the printer less than 12 months - make sure you have the serial number of the printer with you when you phone.
