SOURCE: lexar flash drive

First, download and try to extract all the files from your drive with this tool:

Second, at the moment that you are sure that you have all your files backed up, if windows recognizes the drive, try to right click on it and format

my opinion is, better to backup your files while you can still access the drive. Then try to format your external drive.
Just a suggestion. Hope it helps thanks.

I have a flash drive i need help to put music from my computer to my flash

There are several ways to do this and several complications that may arise. That said, here is a brief outline of one method:
1. Locate the music folder on your PC.
2. Insert your flash drive into the USB port (allowing time for it to install or access drivers).
3. Click on Start, select My Computer. Locate your flash drive (most likely list as Removable Disk or the brand name of the flash drive). Double click on that icon.
4. Right click the folder or music files you found in step 1. Select "Send to" and choose "Removable Disk." The transfer process may take several minutes depending upon the number of files you are transferring. After the transfer is complete, click on the USB flash drive icon on the Windows task bar and select Stop or Eject. The PC will advise you when it is safe to remove the flash drive.

Upload the files to the jumpdrive. Remove jumpdrive from computer 1 and insert in computer 2. When computer 2 recognizes the jumpdrive, copy the files to a directory folder where you want to save the music. Unplug the jumpdrive.

How can l transfer the music files on my usb memery stick to my vista operated laptop

Very easily, just plug in the USB drive to your Vista computer and a window will open and you select to view files in folder. Than just copy and paste the music files into your desired folder which is probably the My Music folder under your My Documents.

Error message 0x80070052

I tried setting up a new folder and transfering the files, this did not work either so I just purchased a new Jump drive. I had plenty of space remaining on the Lexar, however, my time was worth more than the cost of a new drive. I'll keep looking for "free solutions" to my problem and if I find the answer, I'll respond.
