My lg tromm DLG69885 gas dryer is not heating; otherwise it works fine. Dry light flashes cooling light stays on solid

sensor bars just measure humidity so dryer knows when close are dry, so will have no effect on heating. the check filter light is just a reminder, not connecter to any sensor or anything. could be several issues: gas valve solenoids, thermal fuses, etc. but for a quick try that might work, try just unplugging the dryer, push and hold the on button for about 20 seconds and then plug back in and see if the dryer is reset. works sometimes. good luck

Sounds like your heating element has went out. So you will either have to replace it $100 to $150 or purchase a new one

Hi - there is a fault with the heating circuit, most likely either a bad connection on the elements or elsewhere on the wiring. The only other problem would be the actual heater element, although doubtful as it would normally pop the circuit breaker instantly if this was the case.

Although i'm not familiar with this particular model all dryers operate the same way, when on air dry there is usually no heating involved, it will work ok.

If you can handle the repairs yourself otherwise get an electrician or appliance serviceman to help you out.

If everything else in the dryer is working fine and it won't heat so it means that the thermal fuse which is located inside the rear panel on the blower wheel housing is bad and needs replacement. Please get back to me if you have any other questions.

I checked gas it is on and flowing through the pipe up to the dryer
Can't find igniter, reset switch or fuses on the dryer

I just cleaned those sensors at the bottom of the filter, it worked like a charm. The dryer is now drying perfectly, I did not know you were not supposed to use fabric sheets with this dryer. Now I know, Thank you for the good information.
