Check the wash cycle mode setting you have selected. Refer user manual. Two hrs cycle looks to be OK.

Check the water inlet flow also. Clean strainer. Slow fill of wter will lengthen the time of operation.

Whirlpool dishwasher fe error code

I had this issue with a Whirlpool Dishwasher. I could move the water float valve up and down, and the machine would run a cycle before acting up again. I ran a dishwasher cleaner through it (The one from Finish) and they problem went away! I have always ran the Afresh dishwasher cleaner, but I guess it is not as good as Finish! Conclusion, if you can get it to run a cycle, then try using the Finish Dishwasher cleaner, and see if problem disappears.

Own a whirlpool dishwasher with six sense. Kindly advise me if we can reset the timer to ONLY 30mins or 45mins as 2hours is the only time on the machine. First time user and in booklet don't...

This machine determines the time it will take to wash depending on the load and how dirty the dishes are. It actually looks at the load in the machine and as it washes, it also checks the first and subsequent emptying of waste water, to see how soiled the water is. The machine then adjusts the duration of the wash depending on what it finds as it runs through the cycle. Consequently, you can't adjust the time. However, the 2 hours that the machine is displaying is an estimate, based on the most recent loads that it has done for you (I'm not sure, but I believe it is the average time taken for the last 10 or 20 loads). If the machine is new and hasn't built up a history of the loads you use, the estimated time to wash will be quite high (there may well be a 2 hour default estimate). This does not mean that it will necessarily take 2 hours. You will find that when you put in a load, the time to finish will be revised as the machine goes through its cycle.

Consequently, if you typically do the same sort of load time and time again, you will see that the estimated time to finish will begin to stablise around a more realistic estimate as the machine "gets a feel" for how long the load will really be likely to take.

Bottom line, just let it do the loads and trust the technology to do the best job that can be done. The time to finish will begin to change as it builds up a history and the machine is designed to use as little water and power as possible without your intervention.

Whirlpool Dishwasher GU3600XTSB 3 - 4 hours to complete washing

Wash time is determined by the cycle you select, the incoming water temperature and the installation location. The new machines will heat the water to a predetermined temperature and it takes roughly 1 minute for each degree of rise, If the incoming water is at 120 deg and the wash cycle wants 165 than it will take 45 minutes just for that one cycle to complete, Factor in an outside wall with poor insulation or lower water temperature and it could take even longer. Bosch sgi45e12gb/22 dishwasher won't stop

hey you..I have a whirlpool dishwasher too that would not
stop the wash cycle...it would run for 2-3 hours,
and then run thru the whole wash cycle again!

so..I had a whirlpool factory trained repair man come to
the home. He ran a diagnostic and it was 100% good,
so he called Whirlpool headquarters spoke to them;

said...........every 250 hours the dishwasher will
RE-CALIBRATE itself! running for 4-4 1/2 hours
straight, in order to re-calibrate itself. I was
interupting this by opening the door before it had
run the full 4 -41/2 hours of it's self-maintenance program.

Perhaps that your dishwasher is doing too?
p.s. always make sure you get a repairman that
is factory trained in your specific brand, otherwise
you'll waste $$$ money with a repairman who doesn't
have access to the corporate tech's and direct access
to their parts/inventory.

good luck with your dishwasher!
mine is the whisper quiet with computer control on front
of the door.
