Can remove google reader icon from following me

Step 1:
In order to protect internet searchers, Google set up a notice to warn users that they are visiting a new page when being redirected from the Google search URL. From here a user can see that the browser is redirecting them, and can choose to visit the site or return to the Google search page. Unfortunately, occasionally this notice may appear each time you click on a search result in Google, making it frustrating to search for anything through Google. If you get the Google redirect notice constantly, you can clear your Internet browser cache and cookies to resolve the issue.

Open the Firefox browser on your computer, and click the "Firefox" option at the top left of the program. Scroll over and hover over "History," then click on "Clear Recent History" from the drop-down menu. Select "Everything" for "Time range to clear," and place check-marks next to "Cookies" and "Cache" in the "Details" section. Click "Clear Now." Allow Firefox to delete the information, then restart the browser. Internet Explorer Open the Internet Explorer browser on your computer, and click the "Tools" (Gear icon) option at the top right of the program. Scroll down, and click on "Internet Options." Click on "Delete" beneath "Browsing history." Put check-marks next to "Cookies" and "Temporary Internet Files." Click "Delete." Allow Internet Explorer to delete the information, then restart the browser. Google Chrome Open the Google Chrome browser on your computer, and click the wrench icon at the top right of the program. Scroll down, then click "Options." Click "Under the Hood" on the left side of the browser window, then click "Clear browsing data" in the "Privacy" section. Select "the beginning of time" for the "Obliterate the following items" drop-down. Put check-marks next to "Empty the cache" and "Delete cookies and other site and plug-in data." Click "Clear browsing data." Allow Chrome to delete the information, then restart the browser.

I had a facebook account but my daughter has used my computer to apply for jobs on linefor the last 2 weeks now when I bring up facebook, I t is her account. I cant bring up by my facebook account up....

The problem might be simple. She might have accessed her Facebook profile from your system and might have forgotten to log out. In this case, you don't want to create a new Facebook account. Just reach the top right corner of the Facebook page, select Account and go to the end of the list to Log Out. Click Log Out and you will be redirected to Facebook Log In page. Type your e-mail Id and Password there and you can access your account.

Hope this one solved your problem. If you have additional doubts, please come back to us.

P.S: If the solution is helpful, please accept the solution.

Regards,

Im using a borrowed lap top.plus i forgot my password. it keeps going to the owners faebook page even though im connected to my internet.i was emailed a web site to reset my password but it doesnt ask for...

Thanks for visiting FixYa!

Using the 'borrowed' laptop, go to Facebook. When you see the facebook page of the owner of the laptop, look to your right hand side - top of the page. locate the word, 'Account' and click on it. A menu will drop down.

Go to the bottom of the drop down menu and click on, 'Log Out'.

This will redirect you to the facebook log-in page where you can then log-in using your account.

I was told to change my http: to https: now i cant use the chat on fb. how can i change it back to http?

1. Go to https://www.facebook.com/editaccount.php?settings 2. Click Account Security (below Privacy and above Download Your Information) 3. Uncheck Secure Browsing (https) and click Save. 4. Change the URL from "https://www.." to "http://www.." 5. If it still doesn't work, you might have browser extension installed that redirects to https, like HTTPS Everywhere. Configure it so that facebook is not redirected to https.

This may be as a result of cached content on your browser.
