I have an lg tv and picture is too big....cuts the top of heads off and can't see game scores. Can you help?

If you are tuning from cable or satellite you need to change the settings in the picture menu look for options like "stretch" "autofit" etc. cycle through until desired picture is displayed, turn off widescreen setting if you can find it check the manual for options regarding this. If you have it attached to a computer you will need to change the resolution to something smaller like 1366X768 which is the standard 720p resolution for the smaller tv's If there is still a problem it may be

Adjust the aspect ratio. You should be able to get to it through the onscreen menu.

I have a 37" lg flat screen and were unable to make the picture size available to see scores of games, etc. It's cutting off the top and bottom portion of the picture almost like its zoomed in. Weve tried...
It sounds like it is in ZOOM mode, look for 'ZOOM', 'ASPECT'. PICTURE MODE' on the remote control.

LG TV MODEL 442L0520 SERIAL 005RMKUA3341 PICTURE IS TOO BIG FOR THE SCREEN,K TOP AND SIDES CUT OFF. WHEN WATCHING SPORTING EVENTS, SCORES CANNOT BE SEEN.
You need to go into the TV menu and change the settings for the display! Press the Menu button and adjust the Picture! It's probably set to automatic and not reading them correctly.

Have you tried the "Aspect" button below the menu keys of the remote? Try "Full" Aspect and see if this improves things for you.

Picture too big.
HDTV's come with selections that will change the screens display, on the remote press the format button and you should be able to find a setting that you desire.
