Do you mean that you have blank copies/prints, or that there is some message on display, or just blinkig red led...?
If yyou have blank copies the problem is in laser shutter.
If you have error message send detailed description.

Dose it do it when you use it as just a copier? I would have to say that the problem lies with in your network some where. Call your IT person.....

ok you have a hard drive error problem that is what the code refers to need to replace the hard drive, try to scout around for one out of another machine somewhere and put it in otherwise if you get a new HDD you need to reload all the machine firmware and you will need special tools for that and only canon technicians have access to that stuff,

Hi,
I had same problem with my Canon pixma ip4600 and 4300, it works fine on one of my laptop that has XP but will only print one copy at a time on my laptop with Vista. After a long time playing around with it I found if i set the printer setting range to print pages 1 to 1 ( or 1 to "number of pages in doc"), then put in how many copys you want and click collate.
It worked for me so hope this helps :)
