What is causing blurry image with multiple horrizonal lines in the picture. Image is also greenish in color

The image is directed by the lens to a mirror then to a prism then to the viewfinder. The mirror flips up when you take a picture so the image can reach the film behind it. If the lens is ok it is possible that the mirror is very dirty or not returning completely to the proper position after a picture is taken. If the mirror is dirty you should have it professionally cleaned because it is a very light weight metal mirror and VERY EASILY SCRATCHED. If you have another lens then mount it and see if it is also blurry and cannot be focused.

A few cameras like certain Olympus models have a mirror lock up option which you use after focusing the image while the camera is on a tripod. This gets rid of the slight vibration caused by the mirror swinging up out of the way while taking. a picture.

If all else fails you might consider taking it to a good camera shop if you can find one.

Digital cameras are getting better and better but there are still things film cameras can do that most digitals cannot. Long exposures in "Bulb" mode and multiple exposures are among these. Also each brand of film has it's own Artistic color expression such as Afgachrome vs. Kodachrome.

Sounds like convergence failure. (Colored shadows of images.)

There may be the issue with the CCD (image sensor device) of the Camera.

well it seems you have an issue with one of your video boards, it could be that the Analog Video Board (the one with the inputs and outputs) is partially damaged, but it can also be your Digital Video Board, which is the one that projects the image

There are two ways you can do this.

1. post the image to a site like photo bucket or flicker and post the link here
2. next to the You Tube on the top of the post reply window click the image. This will open a window. Browse to where you have the image saved and click it. This will insert the image to your reply.

Ghost image and snowy colorful pixelation with vertical black bars? You can try a hard reset by unplugging the unit completely for 4 hours. However you may have a prob with the YSUS and the YBU-L (YBuffer Upper-Lower.) Perhaps even the Logic Main may be defective. If you are still under warranty take it to a service center ASAP. CCD fault ...... get it replaced at a service centre ...

the ccd image sensor is the problem of your camera....is it need to be replace by canon service...cause that is a production defect...check the model of your camera to the canon costumer...maybe is the one of the recall product....

This is a result of Sony CCD recall issue - working with Sony for repair.

normally that happen in the cameras when we take out one filter that is fitted between the CCD and the Lens, maybe on that camera is just don´t exist and depending on the light the image changes.
