The problem could be your display. Use the VGA port on the side of your laptop to connect it to a computer monitor, this will let you know if your system is posting or not. (If you see the Boot Screen it is posting).

My toshiba satellite pro 6100 will not turn on. The battery light and power light turns green but it will not turn on.sometimes it will on and hang on toshiba logo and if it check it will just off

There's a couple of things you can try here. First I would connect the laptop to an external monitor. If that works, then check to make sure that it is set to internal screen usage by pressing the function key and holding it while pressing the f5 key. If this works then problem solved. However if you get an external screen but the laptop screen still does not turn on then the problem is internal to the laptop you need to get a tech to look at it.

Next, if the above procedure does not produce any results, take off the battery, take off the memory, press the power key a couple of times, replace the ram and the plug in the ac adapter and see if it works. Replace the battery and see if it works. If it works without the battery and not with it then your problem is your battery.

Since you are getting the battery and power lights to turn on, I doubt that it would be your dc jack.

Don't know how to setup wireless toshiba satellite pro 6100 pc notebook

Most Toshiba 6100s come standard with wireless cards installed. If you're unsure, just turn on the WiFI antenna switch (near its SD card slot) and see if the WiFi access LED lights up (the WiFi LED is the rightmost LED on the front of the unit) -- if it lights up, then you've got a stock Wireless card in your system.

Email me if you can't determine which card you have.

When i try to power it up it does nothing .when pluged in the light is green and when you hit the power button the light flashes amber

You could have a short in your power adapter cable or in the female power jack. There could be other problems than that, but that's the first place I would look.

I can't start my Toshiba Sat. 6100, the AC LED blinking wit AC as well only with battery. After press Startbutton no movesan, CD, or HDD. What can I do?

All you need to do is Power Drain,
First you need to unplug battery and power cable from the laptop,
then, press and hold the power button for 20 sec without the battery and power cable,

then connect the power cable back in to the laptop(NO NEED OF BATTERY NOW), then turn on the laptop, if its turing on then you can turn off the laptop, then connect the battery back,

WON'T START

You either have a faulty power supply or the power button is bad.Bad ram will sometimes cause power on problems as well.
