The oven turns on only for the clean cycle; but does not turn on for regular baking/broiling. Unit is about 6 years old.
I WOULD LOOK AT THE DOOR LOCK ASSEMBLY AS THE DEFECT. THERE IS USUALLY A SWITCH THAT TELLS THE CONTROL IF THE DOOR IS LOCKED OR NOT. IF THE SWITCH HAS SHORTED CLOSED, THE CONTROL THINKS THE DOOR IS LOCKED AND WON'T DO ANYTHING BUT CLEAN.
MOST OF THE ASSEMBLIES ARE UNDER THE RANGE TOP.
YOU MAY HAVE TO REMOVE TWO SCREWS FROM THE UNDERSIDE OF THE TOP AT EACH OF THE FRONT CORNERS. OPEN THE OVEN DOOR TO GAIN ACCESS.
IT WILL BE LOCATED IN THE CENTER. THE DOOR HOOK THAT STICKS OUT TO ENGAGE THE DOOR IS PART OF THE DOOR LOCK ASSEMBLY.

could i get a acopy of the oven door assembely? mine wont close.
We've had this happen twice after the power went out during an electrical storm. The display shows an F9 code and the oven door locks. My husband manually unlocked the door and it worked fine after that. It happened again last night and it won't unlock this time. Any suggestions?
