My son purchased the Apex Digital AVL2076 20 TV at Sears on a Clearance Shelf sold as open box. The power supply cord had been stolen and was not in the box. They would not take the TV back. We have tried endlessly to purchase the new power supply cord, even gone to APEX directly, where they tell us we need to go through one of their service centers. When calling the service center, they can not get this part either, and told us this company is the most difficult company to get replacement parts from. Can someone here help or point us in the right direction? Unfortunately, we have a tv that we've never been able to turn on!
The orignal power cord went out and our Toshiba laptop has a similar cord. The cord for my lap will work with the TV. But i dont know for how long. The tv is for my 5 yr old and we have never used it more than 4-8 hrs straight. You can purchase the cord for about $65 the model# A135-S2256. I hope this helps. I was actually looking for the orignal cord and i have been running into the same problem. So it looks like i'm going to purchase the Toshiba cord too.
