Your best bet would be to go to nintendo.com and sign up for "my nintendo", then you can set up a repair

Hi How do I save progress/lives on the new super mario game on the DS lite please? My friends kids can all save on theirs? Thanks

The only way to save is to beat a castle. In any given world you have the halfway point which is a small castle and an end point which is a big castle at the end. Once you beat either castle a question appears at the bottom asking if you want to save. Just pick yes and you must play from there to the next save point in the next world. TIP: also the big coins you get in every level can be used to open up prize rooms and whatnot, every time you open a prize room or different path the game will prompt you to save there as well. Very helpful near the end when the levels become excruciatingly unforgiving.

I let my step bro use my dsi so he could use his cheats on his r4i and then it muffed up the card date and it won't load the games because its says system date error please chck nds system date. How can we...

Sounds the new error that's come up for R4i SDHC . The new update should fix it or you can rollback your date on your DS.

When you turn on dsi the touch screen doesn't work and once you get to the menu section the only thing that works is the camera buttons. What do you do?

This is what I told one personwho had a similar problem.

One time when my dinosoar of a ds was not a dino, I left it plugged in to the wall for a few days. When I went to unplug it and play a game that required the touch screen, it seemed to not know i was touching it. That night I went and bought mario bros. partners in time and played that game (which used buttons and not the screen) until my ds died and I recharged it only for a day and the touch screen worked again.

Another time I went to someones house with 2 little kids and let them play my game. They lost my pen ( and it was a hassel finding a pen small enough to fit in the slot) and started using their fingers. We ate some super buttery popcorn and kept touching the screen with our fingers. The next day the touch screen did not work and my step dad had to use windex 3 times daily for 2 days before it would work.

Make sure you try what I tried a few times. Pretty much any problem you have with the touch screen not responding can be fixed by letting your batteries run out of juice and recharging in a maximum time of 1 day. If this fails you, make sure you are using the bottom screen. You dont know how many people I have met that kept replacing their ds and ended up finding out they were using the wrong screen. Finally, replace the screen, and buttons or just replce the ds or dsi.

Water in my ds

You should never put water on a NDS console, the best advice I can give you now is to leave it turned off and leave it in a warm, dry place for a week. Hopefully that should dry it out.

Nintendo ds

Its possible though sometimes it is expensive so dont worth the work.

-Top screen broken: you can buy a replacement and carefully do the work by yourself with the help of a guide (youtube have many) and some tools (3 winding screwdriver is the less common though not much). The foil data ribbon can be bought separatelly for the original NDS though the new NDS lite have it soldered and very difficult to work.

-Broken plastics: a broken hinge means you need to buy a replacement shell. Anyway buy a complete shell from a DS modding shop or take parts from a non broken plastics DS (water damaged one may be good) in a place like ebay. You would be lucky if you find a non broken screens and good plastics DS for parts.

At the end you may be over your repair budget and not only that, you would be very near to buy a new unit with this money. Each one make its own choice.

Good Luck...
