There is no adjustment for a slow close/quiet close seat. It would defest the manufacturers intent.

Hinge on quiet close stopped working

A lot of these slow closing toilet seats don't work well, so I suggest an alternative, Drop-a-Seat cushions. They stick on to the bottom of the toilet seat, allow you to drop any toilet seat, gravity does all the work, and the cushions absorb the impact. They're non-absorbent, stick on for easy installation (permanent yet removable), and are only $4.99. Check them out at www.drop-a-seat.com

Toliet seat lid doesnt drop slowly anymore ( 4 yrs. old )

Either live with it or replace it. The hinge is not serviceable and the soft close action does not last forever. They rarely last more than five years, maximum.

mcdevito75 here, Possibly replace the bolt covers as they could be stretched or just leave them off.

Slow closing toilet seat not working

It needs a new air shock on it. You might be able to take the old one apart and fix it but replacement would be best.

How to tighten the hinges on a slow close toilet seat?

You don't want to overtighten since you could crack the porcelain. Are your rubber washers in good shape? This will help. You should be able to do this w/out doing any damage.
