My RCA 50" plasma PHD50300 recently started acting up, the top half of the screen would go black and after a power cycle the top would appear again with no problems. Over the past couple of days though the top half of the screen is completely out and the bottom half is not clear and the images on the bottom half of the screen appear to be bleeding. Anyone have any ideas on what could of possibly gone wrong, is it repairable?

I have the same problem with mine. When it first started doing this, a power cycle would fix it. As time when on, it would have to be left on like this for a while, then power cycle it. The on time before power cycle continued to grow to half an hour. Now I can't get the picture correct no matter how long I let it warm up.
Any ideas what the cause is?
i am having the same problem. my tv is almost 2 yrs old and has been doing the same thing. for a week or two (over a month ago) it was doing it daily, and by turning the tv off, then unplugging/re-plugging the power cord, then turning it back on would restore the full picture, but now it is doing it again, and is not as easily fixed. in the last 30 minutes, it has done it 4 or 5 times already, and just did it again. the top a1/2 just fades out quickly to black, then a horizontal line or two will come thru, but not the rest of the top half. please help. i don't understand how to fix this.
