i think you may be getting wireless confused with bluetooth. Your mouse is wireless and it needs the wireless sender unit connected to a usb port, but this is not bluetooth, it picks up the wireless signal from the sender to work. You will also need to install any software that you got with the mouse (if any), as you will need to set up the button and click functions, unless it just uses the normal pointing device driver in windows.

SOURCE: Flashing USB

The flashing light on the adapter that is plugged into the USB port is normal operation of this mouse. In order to hide the light, I put electrical tape over it. There is no way to turn it off, as the flashing light is an indication that it is receiving a signal from the mouse.

I just got this wireless mouse without driver software. where can I go to get the drivers for free. it did not come with a cd

In most cases you do not need to install the driver as the OS supports , so unless your OS is the older version you will need to check if the model is compatible.
So please check on the official site of Dynex or call your nearest Dynex dealer.

Mouse locks up

Please read all instructions before proceeding. If 1 does not work go to 2, then to 3.

1. Clean your mouse on all surfaces, I use a windex wipe that I have wrung out to remove some of the moisture, or you can spray a soft cloth with windex. It is surprising how dirty a mouse can get.Do not get the mouse wet. You also need to clean the surface where you use the mouse to free it of dirt and oils.

2. Go to Start>Control Panel>Mouse and check your pointer/wheel/button settings. They may be set to very slow levels. Make changes slowly, so you can see how your mouse responds.

3.Please go slowly and carefully when attempting this solution:
Start>Right click on My computer>Properties>Device Manager>Mice or pointing devices (expand the category and right click on your Dynex>Click on Update Driver>Choose look for driver in all places. This will let us know that you are using the best driver for your mouse or it will find a new one.

This site has information regarding your mouse:

Why wont my Dynex DX-PMSE mouse not work? I plug it in and then the laser blinks and then turns off.

if you're on a laptop make sure you enable the "Disable touchpad when external pointing device available" option in your touchpad utility. I think the touchpad interferes with the dx-pmse. Should fix the problem, if on a desktop make sure you remove all pointing device from device manager and then plug in ur dx pmse

What aboutmicro inovations infared mouse kb985w drivers for win 7 and other issus

The Micro Innovations infrared mouse kb985w is a Plug-n-Play device and does not require any additional driver.

Windows 7 USB ports are backwards compatible with USB 1.1. Your mouse should work with Win 7 with any driver installation.

But if you're asking for driver to reprogram the buttons of your mouse, you need to contact the manufacturer and verify with them if they have a software that would work with Win 7.

Good luck and have a good evening!

Mouse trouble

To fix this problem, first uninstall your mouse in your device manager. After this, use the mouse's install CD to reinstall the driver. If you do not have a CD, or it does not require a CD, windows may already have the driver pre loaded and can take care of it. If not, you can goto the mouse manufacturers web site and download the driver from there.
