I have the same problem, it says there will be a knob by the odometer, but there isnt.. it's only one to change the trip mileage to zero, and one to switch from F to Celsius.. neither turn left or right as it says in the manual, which seems to be for the 325X.. Apparently the 2004 XI is different, as I've tried every conceivable approach in terms of button pushing and holding down mode buttons, etc to get the clock moveable.

BMW e46 won't start because of the alarm.

Hi, if the car stay for long time the computer box lost memory. Now is not reading the key. You need to program your key again by BMW manufacturer. Also on bmw the alarm is connected to computer box too.

I need the fuse box diagram for a 2004 325xi bmw

2004 BMW 325XI AWD 2.5L EFI DOHC 6cyl

Fusible links are often identified by the color coding of the insulation. Refer to the accompanying illustration for wire link size and color.

Circuit Breakers - Resetting & Replacement
Circuit breakers are located inside the fuse panel. They are automatically reset when the problem corrects itself, is repaired, or the circuit cools down to allow operation again.

Fuses Replacement
Use the provided plastic fuse puller located in the fuse panel to remove fuses. The upper lid of the fuse panel has a diagram of the fuse locations and amperage ratings for each circuit. The fuse is removed by simply pulling upward on the fuse with the removal tool.

The fuses are easily checked by visual inspection. With the ignition switch OFF pull the fuse out of the holder. Check the fuse filament. It should be continuous and not broken. If the filament is broken, replace the fuse with one of the same amperage rating.

The fuse and relay box on the E30 and E36 models is located in the engine compartment. The E36 models also has relay boxes located under the left side of the dashboard.

The diagram is in section 610 of the Bentley Manual. Some have downloaded it through a link provided here: http://www.bimmerwerkz.com/forum/3-s...4-a-50762.html

Good luck.

I replace brake lining on bmw 325xi 2006. How do I

Unfortunately, you have to have the service reset tool. Dealers and BMW mechanics have this tool, but i don't know whether they reset for free. i guess it depends on who you take it to.
