WARNING: this process will erase all songs off the GoGear.
Disconnect the GoGear from computer.
Turn the GoGear off.
Hold in the volume + button.
Reconnect the GoGear while holding in the volume + button.
Continue holding the volume + button.
After 5-50 seconds, Windows will pop-up a "Found New Hardware Wizard." - complete the wizard (BTW, you can take your hand ff the volume + button now).

Does the message "no songs" appear in your screen ?
There are possible corrupted files on your player.

Not skipping the next song

yah. I think you put it in the repeat mode.
Click on a song, click the right button at the bottom of your screen and take it out of repeat mode.
If that doesn't work i don't know so you should cally samsung.

Although beeping suually indicates a bad diode - player would need to be replaced b/c there are no repair servcies
