How do I get into the back of a cw series brewer to replace a broken tank switch? I don't see any way to get into the back of the brewer. It's not like the ease of a stf-15

You have to get to it from the front panel. Remove the 6 screws for access.

Bunn CW Coffee Brewer not brewing enough coffee - amount is half

Have you cleaned lately, put in an empty filter and fill with cold water with a tablespoon of white/clear vinegar. Run the brew cycle, empty pot and while still worm fill with cold water again with out vinegar. Than check filter to see how much hard water chunks are in the filter. Repeat with and without vinegar tell filter is clean. One question though is there a lot of steam coming out of the top during the brewing cycle if so inside there is a tube that may be cracked, broken or came loose, have to look inside. requires opening or disassembling unit to check. REMEMBER when taking apart UNPLUG unit first.

Sounds like the switch is stuck in the operate position. Therefor once the machine hits temperature it just brews. Your local Bunn distributor should be able to recommend an engineer to replace the switch or supply the correct t,hope of switch if your confident enought Tom replace it yourself.

The brewer is on a gravity feed system, after the initial fill, whatever you put in is what comes out. as for the start button check the water connection on the back, there might be a problem with the solenoid.

My cw series is a plumbed-in unit. Water flows continuously from the spray head. I think that either (1) the water level sensor is bad (2) the shut off valve is stuck open. Ideas? Can the water level...

The CW series brewers do not have level probes they run strictly on a timer and a solenoid to control the water flow. So, that said, the problem could be the solenoid. If the brewer constantly drips/runs even when the front "ON/OFF" switch is off then it is the solenoid. If the brewing stops with switch off then it is the timer. The timer is located in the panel behind the filter basket on the front of the machine (6 screws) If the brewer has a manual timer set it to about 2 minutes, a good starting point for a pot of water (1/2 gallon). If it stops brewing then you need to fine tune the timer to give you right amount of water for your brewing method. If it doesn't stop... then you will need a new timer. If your brewer does NOT have a "dial/manual" timer follow the instructions on the backside of the panel to "reset" the brew level. If it does not reset you will need a new control board. Hope this helps.

I Have a new Bunn CW15-APS and am trying to make it produce stronger coffee. How do you adjust coffee strength since this system is so automatic?

To get stronger coffee, I would advice adding more coffee to the brew basket or using a slightly finer grind.
